I love the new Imperial purple ink from Clearsnap. This would be my sister's favorite color. I love how I was able to achieve a light and dark watercolored look with only one color of ink. The flowers from SU "Too Kind" stamp set were perfect. I added the imperial ink to my kraft mat and spritzed it with water. Then I soaked up the color with a baby wipe and used it to color over my embossed bg. I inked up the largest part of the flower and then off stamped onto the wet inky baby wipe. This gave me a lighter version with a watercolor feel. Then I added ink to my kraft mat again (no spritzed water) and stamped the smaller part of the flower for a darker watercolored look. I love how it turned out. My inky baby wipe was inspiration for my faux felt that I made. I used the new Irish color of archival ink for my stem. I added a small amount of ink to my kraft mat, spritzed it with water and laid the diecut stem into it.
